Workshop to strengthen surveillance, alert, and response to public health emergencies in the Region of the Americas. The workshop aims to review the progress of countries and the Brazilian experience in strengthening surveillance, alert and response to public health emergencies, carry out a simulated exercise and discuss the exchange of actions related to surveillance, alert and response from Brazil to interested countries specifically in the Public Health Emergencies Training Program.

Organized by the Brazilian Ministry of Health, through the Health Surveillance Secretariat (SVS/MS), with technical support from the Pan American Health Organization.
